Refund & Cancellation Policy

Adisha Cosmos offers personalized, handcrafted astrological consultations prepared individually by Acharya Amit Upmanyu. As each consultation involves substantial personal time and effort from the practitioner, our refund policy reflects the nature of this bespoke service.
1. Cancellation Before Work Begins
If you wish to cancel a consultation before the practitioner has begun work on your chart, you may request a cancellation by writing to cosmos.adishanoir@gmail.com within 2 hours of payment. We will issue a full refund, minus payment gateway processing charges (typically 2–3% retained by Razorpay, non-recoverable).
Refund requests made after 2 hours cannot be accepted as the practitioner typically begins preparing your chart shortly after booking confirmation.
2. Post-Delivery Policy
Once a reading has been prepared and delivered (whether written or via live consultation), refunds are not issued, as the practitioner's time and effort cannot be recovered.
However, if you believe your reading did not address the question you booked it for, or if you feel the service fell short, please write to us within 7 days of delivery. Acharyaji will personally:
- Review your concern
- Revise or expand the reading at no additional cost, if warranted
- Provide follow-up clarification via email to address any gaps
We stand behind our work. Our goal is that every client feels the consultation was worth the time and cost.
3. Rescheduling Live Consultations (Premium Tier)
If you need to reschedule a Premium live consultation, please notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. We will reschedule at a mutually convenient time, at no additional cost.
If you fail to attend a scheduled live consultation without prior notice, the session will be considered delivered and no refund or rescheduling will be offered. One-time rescheduling for genuine emergencies may be considered at our discretion.
4. Failed or Duplicate Payments
If a payment fails but is debited from your account, or if you are charged twice for a single booking, please contact us immediately with the transaction ID. Failed-payment refunds are processed by Razorpay within 5–7 business days. Duplicate payments will be refunded within 7 working days upon verification.
5. Incorrect Birth Details
If you realize you submitted incorrect birth details after payment, notify us within 2 hours. We will pause preparation and request corrected details. If work has already commenced with incorrect details, we may charge a nominal redo fee or ask you to re-book.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, cancellation, or revision, please email:
Include in your email:
- Razorpay transaction ID or order reference
- Date of booking
- Full name used at booking
- Reason for the refund or revision request
We will respond within 2 business days and, where eligible, process refunds within 7 business days of approval. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
7. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refund under any circumstances:
- Consultations already delivered and acknowledged
- Disagreement with the astrological interpretation itself (this is an interpretive service, not a factual product)
- Outcomes not matching your expectations (we do not guarantee outcomes — please see our Terms)
